May Favorites: Beauty, Fashion, and More!

Every month is always so different. From the products I try, to the memories I create. The month of May was a month I'll never forget for many reasons. One reason being that I graduated High school and two, I was able to test out new products and found some of my now favorite fashion staples for my wardrobe. On today's post I'm sharing with you all those favorites. Last month I wanted to test out some new makeup, and picked some Hourglass goodies up at the Nordstrom counter. This Ambient Light powder (shown above) is absolutely phenomenal. I love the texture, and how it adds back a youthful glow/ light to my skin. I really liked how this product wasn't cakey like other powders I've tried. Another Hourglass product I tested this month was their Ultra Slim High intensity lipstick in the shade "one day". I chose this shade because the color is nude enough to wear without putting a lip gloss on top. One last product I enjoyed this month was the L'oreal Lash Paradise Mascara. I've talked about this before on my blog, and it still continues to be on my favorites practically every month (hehe)! I adore the price point, and in my opinion works better than higher end mascaras!




This product isn't totally "beauty related" but I did have to add it because this made my hair look amazing ALL MONTH LONG! This Living Proof Dry Volume Blast spray totally gives your hair the volume it deserves. I used this spray for graduation and it stayed in very well. For UNDER $25 it's a steal!


I think it's safe to say that last month I was HIGHLY addicted to buying shoes (haha)! Out of all the shoes I did purchase in May, one of my favorites was these GORGEOUS Sam Edelman Scallop open toe heels. These heels are simplistic, and can be worn with pretty much any outfit. I wrote these shoes to my High School graduation and they made my LBD pop! Earrings have always been my favorite accessory for as long as I can remember. I'm that type of girl who NEVER wears anything, but studs. This month that totally changed, and I'm now obsessed with wearing hoop earrings. One pair I wore in May a TON are these gorgeous Madewell small hoop earrings. They match with everything I wear, and they're ONLY $20!
