August is coming to a close which means September is just around the corner!! i cannot wait to start feeling colder weather here in vegas and wear fuzzy sweaters! whenever i think of September i imagine crisp autumn leaves, pumpkin spice loaves, and the cold breeze. On the blog today I wanted to share some of the best beauty products that you can buy to transition into fall. if you're a fall lover like myself then this blog post is perfect for you. what better way to start the autumn off right, then with these perfect beauty products (you'll thank me later)!!
//disclaimer: yes, i'm posting fall content super early this year BUT who doesn't love fall!?!!?! ♥︎
to begin i'd like to start off with my most favorite item which is this adorable Black kitten ears headband from the brand I Dew Care! these kittens aren't really beauty related, but I LOVE to wear these when i wash off my makeup from a long stressful day and to even apply my makeup. this kitty headband is super inexpensive ($6!!) and just perfect for fall.
how cute can this headband get?!! |
let's be honest, you cannot go through the fall time without having perfect eyebrows. what i love to use to make my eyebrows look bold and thick is using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. this brow pencil defines and allows me to fill in sparse areas on my eyebrows so i can rock my fall makeup looks. (*I wear the shade taupe and I highly recommend to go down one shade!*)
one thing i always look forward to during the autumn time is a nice dark/ spooky lipstick. one of my fav lipstick for the fall time is this chubby stick from NYX Simply Vamp Lip Cream in the shade 5V (honestly couldn't find the name LOL). this is one of the BEST chubby sticks i've ever used because it glides on very well, moisturizes your lips, and the color is just to die for.

last but certainly not least is the one and only Colourpop Highlighter in the shade Lunch Money. this product is always mentioned in my blog posts, but it's such a great highlighter - especially for fall! i love how creamy the consistency is and this product glides on like butter onto the skin. this highlighter will make you stand out this fall season!
thank you for reading today's post! i'm seriously so obsessed with fall and it needs to come soon. if you guys enjoyed this post be sure to comment what other autumn posts i should create!! PS: subscribe to my blog for weekly email updates whenever i post on the blog.
lots of love and pumpkin spice,

today's post is much more different than any other post i have done on my blog. i thought that it would be kinda cool to talk about some things i learned as i started blogging and up until now. the reason i chose to do this post today is to allow others to get a little inside scoop of what i've personally learned through blogging. just like any other job, blogging is a struggle sometimes, but seriously i really hope you enjoy today's post and be sure to share it with your friends!! PS: if you're a blogger then i'm pretty positive you'll relate to this list haha! without any further or do, let's jump into the post!! ♥︎♥︎♥︎
i thought i’d begin with this because patience is KEY when it comes to being a blogger. as a blogger I’ve had to learn to be more patient on numerous occasions especially when it comes to creating posts (photos, editing, etc)!!
this seems pretty simple, but in my opinion the better quality your photos are the more likely you’ll receive more followers/ readers approaching your blog. i also HIGHLY recommend to invest in good quality lens. my most used lens would be the Canon 50mm & 18-55 mm. a nice lens makes your photos look 10x better than not using a good lens. (*for those wondering what camera that i'm currently using i will leave it right HERE. it's the canon t5 and i purchased this about 2-3 years ago.*)
i wanted to share this with you guys because many people see bloggers and think that they just wake up with 500k followers and that’s totally NOT true. getting followers + traffic to your site could take up to months and possibly even years. i am still a newbie to blogging, but i do understand the importance of building an audience/ community and driving traffic your site!
one of my most favorite parts of blogging is being able to use my creative abilities to establish product layouts, flatlays, and more! even though its one of my fav parts, it's surely the most challenging. i think my longest “photoshoot” took me 2-3 hours. because i'm a perfectionist i never know if i'll actually even like
the photos when i upload them to my laptop which
makes it super difficult haha.

as a blogger one of my favorite social platforms is instagram. i love to use instagram for posting photos, but i especially love it to connect with my followers!!! even though i’ve only been blogging for a short while, it’s so important to gain a little community and talk amongst your followers.
a part of my job is connecting with brands and doing some form of collaboration every once in awhile. sometimes companies contact me, other times i feel the need to contact them. i feel as if many influencers these days wait and wait for a company to contact them, but you should be the one putting yourself out there! i say to step out of your comfort zone and approach small or big companies. i know that just by having self confidence and pressing send on an email really helps you realize that it wasn't so bad afterall. at the end of the day, if you end up not getting an email back from a company, never ever feel ashamed. you must always remember that YOU put yourself out there and to never be afraid of rejection!
Throughout my blogging journey I have noticed that by consistently blogging and creating content I have gained so much more knowledge about editing, photography, products, and more. I’m a firm believer that if you work hard, the payoff in the end is extraordinary!!
one of the MOST important things in my opinion about blogging is genuinely being yourself. this is such a common saying, but just by being you truly shows your creativity. in the beginning of my blogging i'd have such a hard time expressing myself, but as time went on i slowly opened up my shell and expressed me through all my photos/ blog posts. never rely on someone to give you
inspo. you be the inspiration for yourself and BE YOU ALWAYS!
inspo. you be the inspiration for yourself and BE YOU ALWAYS!
at the end of the day I always love this motto. blogging is seriously one of the most amazing steps I’ve ever taken in my life and I’m so beyond grateful that I am allowed to connect with my readers and followers day, by day. If i never did what i loved, i wouldn’t be where i am today!
thank you so much for tuning into this weeks post. i'm extremely blessed to have this platform where i can connect with you all! if you enjoy my content please subscribe for weekly email updates whenever i post!!
lots of love,

lots of love,
This month I have been obsessed with all things skincare, beauty, and hair! Being a beauty fanatic comes with a risk because you never ever know if an item you purchase will actually be enjoyable. One way I go about making sure an item I buy is a winner is simply purchasing a small travel sized product instead of wasting my money on a full size. I find that purchasing a travel sized item
allows you to save money, and really see for yourself if an item is worth the splurge. Many stores such as Sephora, Ulta, and more have tons of miniature items that you can try out to see if a product is meant for you (I tend to see most minis by the cash register lines). I love to take advantage of this opportunity because if you're like me, I'm a total sucker when it comes to trying out various beauty products and trust me girl, items can be so pricey these days!
On the blog today, I'm going to share with you some of my top favorite travel minis that I've purchased and came to love. I would encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and try out travel sized before purchasing full sized items (plus travel minis are 10x cuter than full sized). I truly hope that this blog post finds you well and you'll be inspired to test out some of the products that I've mentioned in this post. (*All links to products will be directly linked in titles as well as down at the very bottom of this post!!*)
Disclaimer: all opinions are my own and all my ratings are 100% truthful! ♥︎ + some of all the items may or may not be mini sized (it was super hard to find them online, but the majority of the products are mostly in stores)! If a product is mini I will mark it with (*)
TOO FACED LIPSTICK
I was able to purchase this baby lipstick at Home Goods awhile back, but I'm obsessed with the color and packaging. This lipstick is a beautiful combination for any makeup look. (Shade: Naked Dolly )
TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY BLUSH
This blush is the perfect size to travel with and the color is just stunning. I got this blush from a Sephora Beauty Insider birthday gift and now I want every Tarte powder blush! (Shade: Paaarty)
BECCA SETTING POWDER
I always get conscientious when it comes to purchasing a setting powder and I was super happy that I tried out this one because I ended up loving it! I adore formula and the way it doesn't crease my makeup.
MARIO BADESCU ROSE WATER SPRAY
I've spoken about this product far too many times on my blog, but I decided to put it again in another post! For those who don't know, I am in love with this rose water spray. It's so awesome because you can purchase many different sizes (I recommend of course trying out the mini to begin with). If you decide that you want to purchase this product, just be warned because you'll definitely want to upgrade to the biggest bottle possible!
MARIO BADECSU BOTANICAL EXFOLIATING SCRUB
Here's yet another item from the Brand, Mario Badecsu. I am loving this mini botanical facial scrub because it hydrates, and exfoliated like no other product.
FRESH LOTUS YOUTH PRESERVE FACE CREAM *
Hands down out of all the products shown this is the most amazing and you need to purchase this! I got this baby sample/ mini at Sephora with my beauty points and it was the best face cream I've ever used!! I have seen such amazing results from this product and I hope that if you purchase this that you will too!!! (Benefits: makes your skin glow, super soft, and super hydrating unlike some creams.)
(Saved the BEST items for last)
LIVING PROOF FULLNESS + VOLUME MINI TRANSFORMATION KIT *
I have been searching for good hair care items for the longest time and ever since I discovered the brand Living Proof I can't even imagine what I did without this product. Down below are 3 of my most favorite items from the Volume Mini Transformation kit that I purchased at Sephora!!
VOLUME SPRAY
Can we just first take a moment to admire this adorable packaging. I'm a lover of all things mini and the spray bottle to this product is by far the cutest thing I've ever laid my eyes on. The volume spray is truly so fascinating and it makes your hair go from flat to BOOM, VOLUME! I would recommend to try out this product if you have thin hair because it's a little harder to reach volume with thicker hair.
VOLUME SHAMPOO/ CONDITIONER
Ever since I used the Living Proof Fullness + Volume Shampoo and Conditioner I never ever want to go back. This combo of both fullness and volume makes me cry with joy because it's exactly the product I needed for both shiny, and bolder hair. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair just from using this and I highly recommend this to ANYONE!!!

hello loves! awhile back i posted a book review sharing with you all my favorite books and rated them from 1 to 5! today on the blog. i'm going to be doing the same thing with my new book favorites. on this post i am mentioning a few old favorites that were mentioned in book review #1 (just because i love it so much)! i also want to apologize for not posting consistently on my blog. august has been such an amazing month, but also one of the most busiest. this blog post i'm sharing today goes out to my lovely followers and subscribers of my blog and instagram. i'm thankful for your support and infinite love! with that all being said, i hope you enjoy this post.
disclaimer: all opinions are my own and all my ratings are 100% truthful! ♥︎
RATE: ★★★★
the first book that i'm going to share with you is a brand new book from my favorite poet, Courtney Peppernell. the title of this book is called Pillow Thoughts 2 and it's a series of beautiful poetry about both falling in love and falling out of love. one thing i truly admire about this author is the way she makes things so dreamy. the words she uses depicts current situations that have gone on in my past and it's relieving to know that we aren't alone in this world. i purchased the very first Pillow Thoughts 1 book last year so I was so excited to find out that this author came out with another book. i would recommend this book to anyone who is struggling through a heartbreak, or someone in love. Pillow Thoughts 2 is a beautiful disaster with both melancholy and exotic feelings.
RATE: ★★★
one book that i've constantly been using both to read and take photos with is the Lauren Conrad Beauty book. i really love this book to take photos with, but I don't really find anything extremely fascinating about it. i'm giving this book a slight lower ranking than usual because I did find the beauty tips helpful, but i felt as if this book was like any other beauty book. i do love lauren conrad and her beautiful blog, but I just wasn't too impressed on this book.
RATE: ★★★★
"How to get Sh*t done" was a book that i mentioned in my last book review (click HERE to read review #1) and i'm still enjoying it right now, i took a little time to myself to reflect and re-read the book and i really enjoyed the authors perspective on many things. my biggest takeaway from this book is that you can stay busy, but you also need to give yourself some time to do less. us woman these days get so caught up in work, school, etc. we need to remember to reflect and recognize that we can't do it all, all the time. if you want to learn more about how to work, but do less then i highly purchasing this book.
RATE: ★★★★★
out of all the books shared, The Astrology of You and Me was the most enjoyable read. i don't know about you, but i'm a weird fanatic when it comes to horoscopes. i love seeing how accurate horoscopes can be and looking up my friends/ family zodiac signs. i purchased this book at Anthropologie when i was on little trip to NYC. i don't regret buying this book because it's so fun to read at night and look up different signs!
RATE: ★★★★★
Living with Pattern was another book that was shown on my book review #1 post and still today it's one of my most favorite interior design inspo books. this book is super delicate with the orange colored pages and it looks absolutely stunning on a coffee table. i've caught myself picking up this book for room ideas. i totally love this book and it's the best! (PS: the cover is too cute)
thank you SO for reading this far into the blog post!! subscribe if you'd like to receive email update whenever i post a brand new blog post.
xo,
han♥︎♥︎
